The Pinnacle Peak Young Men started the schools year off right by treating the Young Women to a great dinner of "An Evening in Italy." The young men had a great experience in planning the dinner, and entertainment. This was a good opportunity for them to learn everything that goes into planning an event. They did a good job of dividing up the work, establishing teams, learning proper serving etiquette, and providing the YW with and evening of fun and wonderful memories.
The dinner was fantastic, warm bread sticks with olive oil and ground pepper awaited the guest arrival. The first course was a Caprese salad. The Entree consisted of Chicken Piccata over bowtie Pasta and a side of spiced carrots that could make your mouth water. And of course more bread sticks, ( you can never have too many of these.)
Desert was a light and delicious Lemon Ice Gelato with fresh Blueberries and a Chocolate Biscotti on the side. Desert was capped off by a rendition of Funiculi, Funicula... Listen, Listen, Echoes from Afar.... We won't be giving the Mormon Tabernacel Choir a run for their money any time soon, but the YW had a good laugh.
